This will be our first meeting of the Kula Study Group. Before the meeting, please get the following text:

Enlightened Living - A New Interpretive Translation of the Yoga Sutra of Maharsi Patanjali.

This book is currently not in print. It is available through Richard Miller. We will talk about acquiring the book at the first class.

Schedule

We will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Each meeting will be with a different host.

Each meeting will start at 6:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm. The meetings will begin as a social event with food and fellowship and will move into a contemplative study group after dinner.

Fees

Fee: Sliding scale - $10 - $30/ month

Itinerary for the Study Group:

6:30 - 7:15 Pot Luck, casual connection w/ each other
7:15 Trade 5 each in dyads to pull attention out
7:30 - 8:30 One circle sharing - Questions/Insights with the Sutras - engage the whole group
8:30 - 9:15 KB leads Satsanga on Yoga Sutra of Patanjali specifically from a non dualistic interpretation and noting where the Sutras underlie, inform and support the practice of Yoga Nidra
9:15 Closing/appreciations

I'd like to have a year's commitment from the group (i.e. able to make 10 of the 12 scheduled meetings) held each month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

After the year's time we can re-access as to where we've been and where we want to go......
