Yoga Nidra Practice

Date:
Saturday, December 12th, 10:15am - 12:15pm

We will meet monthly this year for Yoga Nidra practice and sharing as a way to:

  • Increase our attention span
  • Broaden our awareness of when and how we get hooked by the movement of the mind
  • Get better at remembering to point that sensation back into experiencing the profound peace of True Nature despite the hook

Why practice Yoga Nidra?

  • Yoga Nidra is one of the most direct practices of Self-inquiry and is designed after Patanjali's Yoga Sutra.
  • It is a profoundly transformative practice that leads to lasting psychological change, as well as physical and emotional healing.
  • After a regular consistent practice of Yoga Nidra we begin to embody Kula's rendition of Patanjali's Platform for Free Living which dissolves one's identifications and attachments to body, thinking, feelings emotions, personality, and conditioning and reveals our inherent ground of health and wholeness.
