Kula Sutra Study Group

What is the Kula Sutra Study Group?

The Kula Sutra Study group meets to discuss the The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali. We use this experience to enhance our understanding of Non-Dual Yoga. Because of the cumulative effect of this continued study, this group is not open to drop-ins or new students.

Assignments

For each session, we assign roles to assist with preparations for the study sessions.

Katherine leads each session.

We appoint an assistant that announces the upcoming session to the other students. The assistant also supports Katherine before and during the study session, creating a nurturing environment of learning and a steady foundation to venture into the world.

Someone from group hosts each study session. They make the space available and prepare for our session. The host also has an assistant to support them in preparing for the session.

By working together, we make contact and connect deeply with one other and realize we are not alone nor separate from our-self, each other, nor the world at large. By these actions we directly contradict the pattern of isolation which is the seed bed of suffering.

Location

Each session is hosted by one of the study group participants. See the schedule of individual sessions for the location of each study group.

Potluck

Bring something to share, let the host know what you will bring. The Kula is alive and clearly present.

Fees

The teaching fees for this class are based on our Kula Sliding Scale. Fee: Sliding scale - $10 - $30/ month
