Hello Kula Retreatants,

We will be together soon.

The following is information regarding certain aspects of our time and focus together and the usual what to bring kind of information.

Plan to arrive with a clear, stimulant free mind and an open heart (see next article - Nondual Kula Yoga) to the Audubon Center Friday 2/1 between 4:00 and 6:00 PM.

Please plan on bringing your own meal for Friday night. We¹ll begin to heat up and share in our meal @ 6:00. Let Wilbur know if you are not able to arive by 6PM.

*Meals - Call Wilbur, the lead organizer for the retreat @ (651-488-6112) if you are not assigned to a partner for a meal and ritual.

Please bring the fluids you want. Audubon will supply us with bottled water. Please no alcohol beverages.

Wilbur will be heading up the thinking and delegation of job assignments for the weekend.

We¹ll be staying at Audubon Center¹s Schwyzer Lodge that faces the lake, a 1/4 mile from the main center. Please follow the signposts that point directly to the lodge rather than going to the main center. (Interesting analogy)

Things to bring:
Your favorite Yoga blankie
Yoga mat
Eye pillow

A sacred object or picture to place on our altar

Any other items you need for a comfortable, steady practice: meditation cushion, blocks, strap, a journal to record insights

Comfortable clothing for practice/hiking/lounging
Hiking shoes
musical instrument (for Sat. evening and during free time)
toiletries
sunscreen/sunglasses/hat/gloves/scarf/long underwear
ear plugs
water bottle
light meal for Friday evening / any other supplemental food you'll need and/or want to share (juice, tea, snacks)

Audubon provides sheets, towels, pillow and 1 blanket.

FYI - the beds are very basic single bunk- beds, in 4 separate rooms. Bring more padding, a sleeping bag or an inflatable mattress if you think this will be a challenge.

Please refrain from using any perfumed or scented products while on retreat including Friday¹s arrival (light essential oils are OK).
