Yoga Nidra Practice

We meet monthly for Yoga Nidra practice and sharing as a way to:

  • Increase our attention span
  • Broaden our awareness of when and how we get hooked by the movement of the mind
  • Get better at noticing and deciding to point that sensation back into Self inquiry. ie: Who is it that is noticing XYZ?

Why practice Yoga Nidra?

  • Yoga Nidra is one of the most direct practices of Self-inquiry.  We'll be discussing how Patanjali's Yoga Sutra informs this practice.
  • It is a profoundly transformative practice that leads to lasting psychological change, as well as physical and emotional healing.
  • After a regular consistent practice of Yoga Nidra we begin to embody Kula's rendition of Patanjali's Platform for Free Living which dissolves one's identifications and attachments to body, thinking, feelings emotions, personality, and conditioning to reveal our inherent ground of health and wholeness.
